NOTICE:
The vehicles in this sale are not physically located at Regal Auctions and there is no in-person viewing available.

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING ANY VEHICLE AT THIS AUCTION

• ALL SALES ARE FINAL * Vehicles sold on an “AS IS, WHERE IS” basis 
• There is no expressed or implied warranty or guarantee of vehicle condition
  
• No guarantee that keys found in vehicles will start the vehicle
  
• A towing fee of $138.00 plus GST will be charged to tow the vehicle anywhere in urban Calgary. Higher tow fees may apply to larger items, motorcycles, etc. and will be identified prior to sale.
  
• All trailers must be towed by our towing contractor. Self tow is not permitted.
  
• As the vehicle was sold in compliance with the Vehicle Seizure and Removal Regulation, the Security holder has relinquished their title, and rightful ownership has transferred to the new owner. However, should the buyer require a lien release, it is their responsibility to seek it from the security holder.
• Due to insurance regulations, no work is authorized in the Municipal Impound Lot, including locksmith services, mechanical work, or tire services.
  
• ANY PURCHASE(S) IN THIS SALE MUST BE PAID ON THURS AUGUST 14TH BETWEEN 8:00AM - 2:00PM
  
• VEHICLES CAN BE WITHDRAWN WITHOUT NOTICE UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL BY THE PURCHASER

PAYMENT DETAILS:

• How can I pay:

Payment can be made by means of Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit Card or Certified Cheque made payable to the City of Calgary.

NOTICE: Calgary Parking has gone to a cashless system and card payments are advised and preferred.

•  Where can I pay:

You must go to the Calgary Parking office at 400 39 Ave SE to make your payment. Payment will not be taken over the phone. Payment must be made in person.

• When do I need to pay?

Payments will be accepted at the Calgary Parking office on the day following the close of the auction between 8:00am and 2:00pm.

• What if I don’t pay?  

If you don’t pay by 2:00pm at the Calgary Parking office on the day following the close of the auction:
1) You will lose the right to purchase the vehicle.
2)Your bidding privileges with Regal Auctions and the Calgary Parking may be suspended indefinitely.
3) You will forfeit your $500 pre-authorized deposit.

• Was a Credit Card Pre-Authorization deducted from my bill?

All bidders must agree to a $500 pre-authorization against their credit card to gain access to the sale. However, the pre-authorization will not be applied to the purchase price. Buyers must pay the entire amount of their purchase at the Calgary Parking Office when they make payment.

• Where do I give towing instructions?

Towing arrangements can be made at the time of payment at the Calgary Parking Office.

YOU MUST PROVIDE ADDRESS FOR DELIVERY. NOTE: ONCE DELIVERY ADDRESS IS ENTERED, IT CANNOT BE CHANGED.  ENSURE YOU KNOW WHERE YOU WANT THE VEHICLE DELIVERED.

Phone calls directly to the towing contractor will no longer be acceptable

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• To the best of our knowledge, all vehicles sold at this auction will fall within one of the following categories:
  • REGISTERED: This vehicle has an “active” VIN status in the Province of Alberta, it has not been written off as a result of an insured accident.
  • SALVAGE: This vehicle will be required to pass an inspection and will be then given a special “rebuilt” rating on the vehicle registration.
  • NONREPAIRABLE: Cannot be registered. These vehicles can only be sold for parts.
  • OUT OF PROVINCE: The vehicle is registered in another province and, as the Vin Status is “Unknown”, it could be any status. Any vehicle registered outside the Province of Alberta will require a safety inspection before it can be registered in Alberta.
  • OUT OF COUNTRY: Purchase of these vehicles will require that Customs charges be paid by purchaser and custom clearance be obtained prior to inspection.
  • REBUILT: A salvage vehicle that has been repaired and passed a vehicle inspection receives a REBUILT status. This status remains with the vehicle for the life of the vehicle.
  • UNKNOWN: We have not been able to determine the branded status of the vehicle.

Minimum bid is $500.00 plus GST.

No deposits on vehicles unless authorized by a Calgary Parking Representative. Any deposits that are approved will be non-refundable.

Additional fees may be charged by the Towing contractor should the customer require a scheduled delivery.

The towing contractor will generally deliver within 48 hours of payment, weather permitting, but this cannot be guaranteed.

All trailers must be towed by our towing contractor. Self tow is not permitted.
 
Lien searches have been conducted. Lien holders have been officially advised of the Auction Date. As the vehicle was sold in compliance with the Vehicle Seizure and Removal Regulation, the Security holder has relinquished their title, and rightful ownership has transferred to the new owner. Vehicles passed over cannot be purchased.

This auction has a staggered closing. Bidding extension is active and set to 3 minutes.
